The Essayist is an award-winning academic writing app designed for students, scholars, and professionals. Hoovprints created an original illustration to promote the app’s latest update, developed around a playful back-to-school theme. Working within Essayist’s established brand guidelines, the artwork visually translates the app’s core features – writing, citation management, and research organization – into an engaging visual narrative. The illustration was created for use across the Apple App Store and promotional marketing materials, and is now live as part of the app’s latest update.
